Technology Choice

Choose a construction option at the planning stage

Houses made of glued beams meet modern energy saving requirements for residential buildings today. For each NUMO house, we carefully select timber that will meet the needs of that particular building. When selecting timber, we take into account the local climate and local building regulations, as well as the client’s personal preferences regarding the main design elements. Our range includes timber of various sections. Additionally, we offer glued laminated timber with insulation, which makes the house even warmer and more energy efficient.

Beam with insulation

Houses made of glued beams meet modern energy saving requirements for residential buildings today. For each NUMO house, we carefully select timber that will meet the needs of that particular building. When selecting timber, we take into account the local climate and local building regulations, as well as the client’s personal preferences regarding the main design elements. Our range includes timber of various sections. Additionally, we offer glued laminated timber with insulation, which makes the house even warmer and more energy efficient.

Bar section

Impressively high beam

The range of timber with insulation has the same size range as a full-bodied timber. The size range of the section of NUMO houses varies both in width and height. You can choose the section width from 5 options: 160, 200, 240, 280 and 320 mm. Section height also has 3 options: 192, 292 and 392 mm respectively. The choice of the width of the beam section is usually determined by the region where the construction of the house is planned, and the climatic conditions in which the house will be located. The thicker the beam – the more energy efficient the house itself. Height often depends on the design and personal preferences of the finishers. The higher the timber, the more massive and impressive the design of the house looks.

Comparative analysis

Innovative technical solutions

Over the years, laminated pine lumber has earned a reputation as an excellent building material in cold conditions. Glulam equalizes temperature fluctuations, so that houses made of glued beams remain cool in summer and warm in winter. When building houses, we use innovative technical solutions: thanks to the internal insulation of the timber, it is comfortable to be in the house at any time of the year, regardless of its geographical location. Below are the results of a comparative analysis of the energy efficiency of timber with and without insulation.

Bar of zero grade

Premium beam

In NUMO houses, the customer can choose not only the cross-section of the timber and the presence of insulation, but also the grade of the timber itself: first or zero. The beam of the first grade allows the presence of only healthy knots. The bar of a zero grade is characterized by the highest quality of processing. When gluing such a beam, lamellas with knots are not used. Wood of this grade is commonly used in aircraft and shipbuilding, as well as for decorative finishes. This premium version of timber has a more uniform texture and color, which improves the aesthetic perception of both the interior and exterior.

Factory assembly

Advanced assembly in production

All components of NUMO houses according to the specified parameters are manufactured at our production facility, and the enlarged assembly of elements into modules takes place there. Ready-made modules already include cable channels and openings for sockets, doorways and inserted windows. Such modules are painted in the spray booth at the factory in compliance with all norms and requirements from the manufacturers of Remmers compositions. This, in turn, guarantees the impeccable quality of all processed elements, increasing the life of NUMO houses.

Delivery of a house kit

Complete readiness for production

The house kit consists of walls, windows, doors, roof, ceiling, skirting boards, architraves, hemmed boards, etc. Factory assembly guarantees dimensional accuracy (error does not exceed 1 mm). Thanks to this, we offer to equip the house with custom-made furniture. The design of our houses is designed for the size of a sea container, so we guarantee the transportation of the house kit to any place of construction by sea or rail. For deliveries within Europe, semi-trailers with a sliding top, the so-called “tarpaulin trailers”, are used.

Wooden windows

Eco-friendly and reliable

We complete houses with wooden windows, stained-glass windows and doors of our production. Wooden frames are not only environmentally friendly, but also withstand heavy loads, which makes it possible to integrate large-area windows without imposts into NUMO houses, which gives our houses a modern look. All stained-glass windows are additionally tightened with a dowel with load-bearing walls, which minimizes the gap and eliminates the possibility of blowing through. All windows and doors are equipped with reliable German fittings.

Corner connections

Walls without blowing

The appearance of the house is completed by the choice of corner connection. The same NUMO house model can look completely different, depending on which corner connection option is chosen. Such technologies distinguish NUMO houses with modern design, allowing you to get away from the traditional perception of a wooden house as a log house. Additionally, each corner joint, including the stained-glass unit, is tightened with a dowel, which minimizes the possible gap between the walls and eliminates the possibility of blowing through.

Prefabricated houses

Assembly of the house in 4 days
Warm outline

The first stage in construction is the assembly of the house kit. We deliver the house kit to the place where the house is being built, we install walls and roofs, install doors and windows, and install a storm system. After this stage, the house is completely ready for interior decoration.

Finishing

Next, we proceed to the installation of engineering networks: water supply, sewerage, electricity, heating and video surveillance. We carry out interior wall painting, installation of the finishing ceiling, laying tiles, installing interior doors, installing sockets and switches.

Complete set of the object

Our company completes the object with furniture. We will develop the interior design of your home, select materials and fittings, produce high-quality furniture and deliver it together with the house kit. Let’s install furniture, we will mount the sanitary equipment.

What is included in the turnkey price?

Ready-made house for all-season living
1. Geodetic research (topographic survey) of the site

Topographic survey is a complex of engineering and geodetic works for measuring a piece of terrain and entering data on the features of the relief, the position of all objects and the distance between them into a topographic plan

2. Geological studies of soil
  • Geological surveys are a whole group of studies aimed at determining the geological and hydrogeological conditions on the site planned for the construction of a private house.
  • A set of measures is represented not only by field tests on the ground, but also by laboratory, cameral analyzes, and forecasting regarding the development of dangerous geological processes under the influence of natural and anthropogenic factors.
  • The study is carried out by drilling 3 wells 8 meters deep with soil sampling. The selected soil undergoes laboratory studies of physical and mechanical properties, and a report is compiled based on the results of the studies, which is used in calculating the bearing capacity of the foundation.

Full-bodied glued timber

Solid wood beam

Houses made of glued beams meet modern energy saving requirements for residential buildings today. When selecting timber, we take into account the local climate and local building regulations, as well as the client’s personal preferences regarding the main design elements. Section of a beam

Impressively high beam

Houses made of glued beams meet modern energy saving requirements for residential buildings. For each NUMO house, we carefully select timber that fits the conditions for the construction of each specific object. When selecting timber, we take into account the geographical location of the site, as well as the personal preferences of the client regarding the main design elements. The size range of timber varies in width (from 160 to 320 mm) and height (from 192 to 392 mm). The choice of timber depends on the purpose of using the future home. The beam width of 204 mm already meets the energy efficiency standards for individual buildings. The narrower log is used for houses up to 50 m2 intended for summer use. In our assortment, a 320 mm wide beam is offered – this is really a massive option that can withstand harsh climatic conditions.

Bar of zero grade

Premium beam

In NUMO houses, the customer can choose not only the cross-section of the timber and the presence of insulation, but also the grade of the timber itself: first or zero. Factory quality

Minimum error in dimensions

The beam intended for transportation is placed in block packages, the cross section of which corresponds to a rectangular shape. Each log during laying is securely fixed on both sides with fixing cables. This prevents the lumber from shifting during turns (when transported by a trailer). Loading and unloading is carried out by crane. To exclude the possibility of damage to the wood during transportation, only soft slings are used.
